The best webcam for video conferencing

For the average educator, high end camera are not always necessary.

As a visual professional creating photographs and videos for clients, I need the best of the best. That’s why I use my Nikon Z6 and an Elgato Camlink 4K for live streaming, webinars, and other video conferencing needs.

But the average educator, whether in a school situation or a public speaker, something that high end is not always necessary.

I am often asked what the best consumer priced webcam is to buy. Typically the two webcams I recommend (the first two in this list) are affordable. But supply and demand forces prices higher at times, so know that the price might shock you at times.
